We don't require parents to stay during classes. However, parents who get involved in their kids' martial arts lessons truly build a solid connection as they watch their child grow in confidence and skill through the belt ranks. Building strong families is important to us at Champions Martial Arts in New Milford.

Wear comfortable clothes you can do sports in, and bring a water bottle. Our classes for kids and adults are a great workout and lots of fun. Most students are grinning from ear to ear by the end of class!

Yes! We encourage parents to watch and get involved. Even better, join one of our adult classes so you and your kids share something in common. Or, if you want some me-time, drop them off and grab a coffee. They will greet you with a huge smile when you return.

Not at all. Martial arts is the perfect sport for kids who aren't connecting with other sports: an individual activity done in a group. Every student's journey from white belt to black belt is different, but everyone improves coordination, balance, motor skills, focus, and discipline, and makes great friends along the way.

This is probably the best activity for kids who enjoy screen time. We get kids active without them realizing they're learning, and kicking and punching pads is a great stress relief. Many New Milford parents see a happier, more social child develop right before their eyes. Plus, most kids love being a ninja!
